About Me: Greetings, I'm Scott Abadie, proud to call Thibodaux, Louisiana, my hometown, where my journey in sports and education has flourished over the years. As a Site Director for OTC Sports, I bring a diverse background in both athletics and coaching, coupled with a passion for fostering a positive and competitive environment.
My love for baseball traces back to my days at Thibodaux High School, where I honed my skills on the diamond, laying the foundation for a successful collegiate career at Louisiana Tech University. These experiences instilled in me not only a deep appreciation for the game but also valuable lessons in teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
Transitioning from player to coach, I've had the privilege of guiding young athletes at various levels. As a former Head Baseball Coach at Thibodaux High School and Assistant Coach at both ED White and Thibodaux High, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of sports in shaping character and instilling life skills.
Currently, I wear multiple hats as an educator and coach at Thibodaux High School, where I continue to mentor student-athletes on and off the field. Whether it's coaching softball, football, or teaching in the classroom, I'm committed to empowering the next generation to reach their full potential.
As a Site Director, I am dedicated to ensuring that every participant, coach, and spectator has a memorable and rewarding experience. Through effective organization, clear communication, and a focus on sportsmanship, I strive to uphold the values of OTC Sports and contribute to the growth of youth athletics in our community.
I look forward to another exciting year of OTC Sports, where together, we'll create lasting memories and celebrate the spirit of competition!
