Getting started with OTC Sports is easy with our simple four-step process. Here’s how to get your team ready:
Step 1: Team Age & Starting Classification
OTC Sports offers baseball for ages 7U - 14U in single age divisions. The age cutoff date is May 1st. For grade exceptions, view the guidelines on our rules page.
- Action: Visit the Team Classification tab to ensure you sanction in the correct division.
- Note: Review classification guidelines carefully. If you’re unsure, opt for the next higher classification.
Step 2: Create Login ID & Password
Team managers must create a Login ID & Password to access our website system. This login will be used to manage your Team Dugout, register your team, complete or edit your online roster, and enter tournaments.
- Action: Click here to create your Login ID & Password. Fill out the required fields, including a valid email address and password, then click SUBMIT. A valid email is crucial for communication.
Note: Teams must be sanctioned for the current season and complete their online roster before participating in any OTC Sports event.
Step 3: Register Your Team
Register your team for upcoming events through your Team Dugout. Make sure all details are correct and up-to-date to avoid any issues.
Step 4: Complete Online Roster
All teams are required to have their roster online before they play. This process is quick and simple.
- Action: Log in to your Team Dugout with your Login ID and Password, and click SUBMIT.
- Next Steps: Select your current year team and click EDIT ROSTER. Enter each player’s legal first and last names as they appear on their birth certificates. Do not include middle names, nicknames, initials, or suffixes (e.g., Jr., II, III). Also, provide a valid email address for each player (or their parent).
Note: Rosters freeze at midnight before the start of the event and unfreeze on Monday.
